Keeping My 2018 To-Do's on Track with BlueSky

Last year was the first year I intentionally looked into getting physical planners and in my search I realized that there are so many varieties! From the size to the way the year is formatted on paper to the overall design aesthetic, there's lots of options to pick from.

When picking a planner, I found it important to know what helps you be most productive. For me, it's a planner that allows me to actually write lots of notes and has space! I don't like when there are time slots within a day. I don't like when it's just a monthly calendar. I almost can get claustrophobic with certain paper format designs.

Last year was also the first year I got into iCalendar, which ended up with me ditching the planner I bought. However, I really do enjoy the art of physically writing something down on paper.

BlueSky reached out to me to offer a personalized planner and I immediately got excited to look into planners again. Except this time around, I had the opportunity to design it myself!

This is a sponsored post from BlueSky but my following review is all original and my honest words exactly.

BlueSky has so many options to pick from when designing your own planner (which was both something I loved and got overwhelmed with). They don't offer just customizable planners either. They also offer classic notebooks and to-do notebooks as well!

I enjoy simple designs, so I opted out on the option to have any text or patterns on the cover (something that I think is a super awesome option to have for most). That being said, I ended up with a solid black monthly/weekly planner with rose gold binding. Yes... rose gold!

At the end of designing your planner, you have the option of adding five free add-ons. Yes... five!

Shortly after placing my order, I got my planner in the mail and I honestly love it! Mostly and especially because of the interior format I chose (monthly/weekly to-do). To-do lists are my favorite! Plus, I'm also super happy that I chose such a simple cover design.

This planner has been perfect for writing down major events of the year (like the Tucson Hip Hop Festival, which was obviously the first thing I wrote) and my weekly to-do's. It's perfect.

I highly recommend looking into customizing your own planner (with BlueSky because I have yet to find another brand that customizes like they do and for such an affordable price) if you haven't found a planner in-stores that you're happy with. I did notice last week that BlueSky actually sells their product at Target if you'd like to get a first-look of their brand in person.

At the end of this post you can check out my exact order!
